The Happy Film
The Happy Film
New York graphic designer Stefan Sagmeister lives in the city of his dreams and works with the likes of The Rolling Stones, David Byrne, Steven Tyler and Jay-Z. There are no problems with business, creative forces are not exhausted, but it seems to him that life is not limited to this. Zagmeister fearlessly begins a project to change his own personality, trying to find out what factors make a person living in a metropolis happy. On the advice of a psychologist he trusts, Sagmeister experiments with three different approaches: meditation, therapy and drugs. The film documents his search and honestly shows everything Stefan encounters on his way: joy, ecstasy, heartbreak, change, love and death.
