Taxi Driver
Taxi Driver
The dim light of blind lanterns, skeletons of factory pipes, suffocate in their own smoke. Towers of Babel skyscrapers, all this - the hell of the New Age, New York. Vietnam War veteran Travis Bickle drives his lone taxi through the night streets of an endless city, and a gloomy panorama of human sins unfolds in front of him. He hopes that one day the heavens will send saving rain to the earth, which will cleanse New York of the age-old filth. And when hope dies, only hatred remains. A shower of fire will fall on the heads of sinners. The taxi driver will take care of it.
