Barry Lyndon

The story of the life of a simple Irish boy, Redmond Barry. While still very young, he kills an officer of the English army in a duel. In order not to fall into the hands of the police, he is forced to leave his native home and travels around Ireland. But the journey was not long. Having given all the money, horse and weapons to the robbers, he enlists in the ranks of the English army. After training, Redmond gets to Europe, where the Seven Years' War is going on at that time. Having seen all the horrors of war, he decides to desert.
