Anatomy of a Murder
Anatomy of a Murder
Army Lieutenant Frederick Mannion is arrested for the murder of bar owner Barney Quill. He claims that the bartender beat and raped his wife Laura. And, although Laura fully confirms the man's version, the forensic expert cannot find evidence of her rape. Paul Bigler, a modest provincial lawyer, is assigned to defend Mannion. The accused does not cooperate, the case is handled by a judge from another city. Bigler understands that this will be a very difficult process, and his chances of winning the case are not so many.
