BoJack Horseman

The action takes place in a world inhabited by anthropomorphic animals and people. Most of the story takes place in Los Angeles. BoJack is the star of the sitcom Throw Out the Grasshopper, popular in the late 80s and early 90s. At the point in time covered in the series, BoJack is going through a midlife crisis. In an attempt to regain his former popularity and love of the public, BoJack tries to write an autobiographical book. But he does not cope with it because of his own laziness. After persuasion from an agent and a publisher, BoJack hires writer Diane Nguyen, who spends a lot of time with him, interviewing him and learning about his past and work on the show.
