Duell der Brüder - Die Geschichte von Adidas und Puma
Duell der Brüder - Die Geschichte von Adidas und Puma
Everyone wears their shoes. And this is their story. In the early 1920s, the brothers Adolf and Rudolf Dassler founded a small shoe factory in the Bavarian town of Herzogenaurach. Thanks to the coordinated work of the talented Adi and the commercial opportunities of Rudy, the company expanded rapidly. The best athletes in the world preferred to train and perform in their spikes. However, the boom was followed by a decline: during the Second World War, the company practically stopped production, and there was a rift between the two brothers. In 1948, the Dassler Brothers Shoe Factory was divided. Thus, two fierce competitors appeared in Herzogenaurach - Adidas and Puma.
