In the center of events is a young female surgeon Meredith Gray, the daughter of the famous doctor Ellis Gray. She works at Seattle City Hospital, and her colleagues are doctors just like her. Surgeons operate and fall in love, start medical histories and official affairs, keep their medical secrets, struggle with complications in patients and in their own personal lives. And most often, relations with the opposite sex worry them no less than the issue of their acquiring professional experience.
