The Russian Woodpecker
The Russian Woodpecker
Fyodor Aleksandrovich was 4 years old in 1986 when he came under the toxic influence of the effects of the Chernobyl nuclear accident, because of which he had to leave. Now he is obsessed with only one question: why did the disaster happen? Did the Soviet government tell the whole truth? And most importantly: what does all this have to do with the huge mysterious steel pyramid that is now rotting 3 kilometers from the accident site - the "Russian Woodpecker"? In this documentary thriller, Aleksandrovych tries to decide whether it is worth risking his own life during the revolution and war that is gaining momentum in Ukraine.
