"The Revolution Museum is an unusual look at the revolution through the eyes of artists, museum workers and curators who try to capture the fast-paced present. The revolution changes the social and political landscape, but first of all - the real landscape. The center of any European capital has not looked like the recent Independence Square for a long time. It simultaneously resembled a medieval carnival and a futuristic fantasy. "This is a total installation", - this is how the artist Oleksiy Sai describes the Maidan. Just like at the carnival, everyday objects change their purpose. Between the painted police shields and the attributes of the overthrown government, they suddenly become museum artifacts.
