Jesse and Mark lost their son. A young couple decides to change their lives and adopt a child - eight-year-old boy Cody. They do not know one very strange but important detail: the boy is terribly afraid to sleep. After learning about this, Jesse and Mark initially assume that the reason for this was the bad treatment of the child by the previous parents. But their guess turns out to be wrong when Cody's dreams begin to materialize before the couple's eyes. The wonders of the boy's imagination delight them, but children often have nightmares.
