The Metropolitan Opera will give new life to Mozart's incredible opera "The Magic Flute" - for the first time the production will be performed in German and shown in its entirety. Even the abbreviated version was a wild success, and now "The Magic Flute" will amaze the imagination of the audience with incredible puppet scenery and subtle humor. This is a romantic drama extravaganza, a magical fairy tale filled with folklore. The music director is recognized genius Matt James Levine, and the production will be conducted by Julie Taymor.
