In the center of events is Professor Joseph Copeland, who uses non-traditional methods in teaching students. In particular, having gathered a group of the best students, the professor begins a dangerous experiment - the challenge of a poltergeist. The professor has a theory: a poltergeist is nothing more than a reaction of supernatural forces to negative energy. If someone is experiencing severe mental or physical suffering, then the poltergeist is sure to heat up (that's what the students were needed for, it turns out!). As usual, the experiment gets out of control. Unbeknownst to themselves, the professor and his wards awakened pure Evil to life.
