The Band Wagon
The Band Wagon
The life of a film artist is striped like a zebra - dizzying success alternates with defeats. For Tony Hunter, thrown out of Hollywood, a period of oblivion has come. But, thank God, the boy has loyal friends: Lester and Lily. They persuade Tony to try his luck on stage in a production of a Broadway musical. After a series of failures, he participates in the New York show, but even here everything is against him, both the prima ballerina and the jealous choreographer who simply hates him. And the producer and director do not tolerate him at all. But the show goes on, and stubborn Tony still manages to turn it into the hottest thing on Broadway.
