Doctor John Doolittle has, it seems, everything you could dream of: a successful career, a beautiful wife and two charming daughters. To top it all off, he is about to conclude the biggest financial transaction of his life. And suddenly something terrible happens: Doctor Doolittle notices that the ability to speak in the language of animals is awakening in him. Doolittle in the literal sense of the word understands the "call of nature" and can answer it. Four-legged and feathered patients, having heard about a wonderful healer, do not allow him passage in the house and at work.
