Freddy Krueger is driven to despair: he can no longer kill because parents from Elm Street have started drugging their children with sleep-blocking drugs. Without thinking long, Freddy begins to manipulate the clumsy serial killer Jason Voorhees, forcing him to kill the children of Elm Street, so that the parents decide that the drugs are not working and stop giving them (which will free Freddy's hands).
